Strength

On December 6, 2013 scientific testing to determine shear strength was conducted by Westpac, Inc. a ISTA certified laboratory in San Diego, CA.

Hook & Loop

A hook and loop design was determined to offer the strongest resistance to failure by forces of patient weight against the connection of the loop design overlapping on the surface of the loop material.

Overlap Breakdown

Laboratory testing demonstrated 30 lbs = pounds force equated to 15.2 pounds per square inch. For overlap comparisons, please refer to the diagram below.
